Rahman speaks about Ilaiyaraja’s music
Ilaiyaraja sir’s music has captivated many generations but every
generation gets caught on a single taste, I still see people who listen
only to MGR and Sivaji songs’ said A R Rahman on Wednesday.
He was speaking from Los Angeles through video conferencing at the
launch of the website Qyuki.com, a brainchild of Rahman and ace director
Shekar Kapur created in collaboration with Cisco.
‘Qyuki.com is a social medium on the new media which focusses mainly on unlocking the creative potential of India,’ said Shekar Kapur at the conference.
The website which has been in beta stage since July 2012 was officially thrown open on 5 December through a video conference streamed in eight centres across India, including Chennai.
