With Damarukam garnering huge collections (as indicated by early trade reports), Nagarjuna is a happy man.  He is proud of the fact that despite so much delay, the film has been able to hold its ground.  "Damarukam's success has given me so much happiness.  I congratulate my entire team.  This is the biggest hit of my career.  I really feel like King," he said.

Sadly, the film has been a victim of piracy since day one.  Appealing to the general audience to watch every film in theatre and not on a pirated CD, he said that his fans were working towards controlling the scourge of piracy through the legal route.
